It will be a busy time at the URC this weekend.
The Plant sale is tomorrow (Saturday) and starts at 10 am.
On Sunday we are having a joint service with our friends from the Methodist Church, as well as being the Baptism of Sienna Yasmin Mota Farrer.

If all this is not enough then there is a ‘New Songs of Worship’ in the evening starting at 6.30 pm. This is preceded by a Faith Tea at 5.30 pm. If you feel tired after all this, then you have the Bank Holiday to recover

We are very excited to have a set of six 360 degree photos of the Church. The set is made up of the Church, Main Hall, Primary Room, Kitchen and Lounge plus a view of the outside.

EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE - don’t miss it

Easter is such a busy and special time. It is time to remind you all about the Sunrise Service on the beach.

Easter Sunday morning at 6.15 am. No excuses - out of bed and wide awake.
The service will be held on the main beach, just adjacent to the jetty. The bonfire should help you find us. Let’s hope that we do get a sunrise. Last year it was spectacular. But even if we don’t get one this year it will be great sharing this special time with our friends from other Churches in the town. Remember, breakfast will be served at the United Reformed Church afterwards.

FUN CLUB ON SATURDAY

Fun Club starts tomorrow at 10 am. The theme this year is - On Your Mark’s - anyone would think that the Olympics are just round the corner. There is certain to be lots of fun and games for everyone. A lot of hard work has gone into the planning

Did someone just say Olympics? Did you know that the Olympic Torch is being carried right past the Church door - that sounds like a good enough reason to have a celebration.

Time to give you all the information on services over the next few days.
Maundy Thursday - Ecumenical service at St George’s Church, Langton Matravers at 7.30pm
Good Friday - Walk of Witness, starting from the Health Centre and ending up on the seafront. Start 11 am
Saturday 7th - Easter Fun Club, ‘On your Marks’; 10 am to 12.30 at the URC hall.
Easter Sunday - 6.15 am. Sunrise Service on the main beach followed by breakfast at the URC.
Easter Sunday - 10.30 am Easter Celebration and Praise. This is being led by our Worship Planning Group as Simon is leading Worship at the wareham Church.
You will be most welcome to join us.

SUNRISE SERVICE ON SWANAGE BEACH

Sunrise Service on Easter Sunday will be at 6.15 am. Around 100 christians from jusT about all the Swanage Churches will join together to welcome the Risen Lord.

EASTER BUNNIES AT SWANAGE URC Monday 26th March

Tomorrow, Monday, is the Toddler Club Easter Service from 9.45-11.15 am Come and join the toddlers, Mums and Dads for this event. Have a Coffee/Tea with us at 10.30 am.
I expect there will be plenty of Easter Bunnies, some Easter Eggs and probably a fair bit of noise. You will be made very welcome, even if you don’t have a toddler to bring with you.

Two members from Swanage United Reformed Church take a leap of faith to support Christian Aid.

Tim Marcus and Jess Meteau will be joing others abseiling down the tower of St Mary’s Parish Church, Swanage on Wednesday 29th

If you don’t have a head for heights and just cannot watch them in this thrilling 100 foot abseil, then at least you could support them by offering to sponsor them.

See them at Church on Sunday and have your wallet ready.
